You don’t have to go it alone. You can feel more regulated, connected and grounded. Working with a licensed therapist can put you in the driver's seat of your life. It allows you to be intentional about your wellness instead of repeating unconscious patterns, which may be dysfunctional and causing you stress. You can gain fresh insights and guidance from an objective professional who can walk along side you through it all. Sessions with Jessica offer a nurturing, collaborative, safe, non judgemental space from which to heal and grow.

Therapy can help identify your needs, goals and unhealthy cycles and make empowering shifts to help show up as your best self in your life. You are a unique individual with your own story and so therapy cannot be one size fits all. Meet Jessica

Hi! I’m so glad you’ve landed here. My name is Jessica Gallo. In my practice, I love empowering clients to heal, grow and show up as their best selves.  I am passionate about helping folks get to know themselves, break cycles, resolve their traumas, and discover their inner-resilience - allowing them to live more fully in the present and even awaken joy. 

With nearly 15 years of experience treating women, young adults, adolescents and children in varied settings, I specialize in trauma (interpersonal and intergenerational), major life transitions, child development, adolescent & young adult mental health, perinatal mental health, relationship issues, parenting support, codependency, perfectionism, depression and anxiety.  It is a priority for me to honor and consider cultural, ethnic, immigration, sexual orientation, gender-identity and spiritual background in my practice.

I employ a holistic, client-focused, warm, honest, strengths-based, compassionate, boundaried and mindful approach.   I find that there is even room for humor and joy in therapy. I show up as a real human being in sessions, which means our work will be heart-felt and connected. You’ll find that sessions are more interactive and collaborative than clinical, awkward and stuffy. My hope is that every client feels more connected in their relationships and attuned to themselves through our work.

Healing Together

The therapeutic process is enlightening, reflective, and transformative. 

My work is rooted in an attachment based and trauma-informed perspective.  This means my work is lensed through an awareness that our interpersonal relationships and experiences can inform how we move through our lives and how we function in current relationships.  The foundation of my practice comes from creating an authentic connection and collaborating with you to help guide your healing process.   Connecting with a professional therapist can offer a model for what a nurturing, reliable, safe relationship looks like.  It also means that my process is intentional, thoughtful, non judgemental, and mindful. 

During our sessions together, we will work to identify strengths, build resiliency, explore and challenge dysfunctional patterns, examine the impact of family history, build a support system, and develop healthy coping skills.  Insights in sessions can shed light on what may need to shift in order to align with the healthiest version of you.  I adapt treatment to attune to your present needs, comfort level, culture, and background. I consider you as a whole person: your inner world, your relationships, your health and your experiences. 

The goal is to help you make sense of your story and leave you feeling empowered, tuned into yourself, hopeful, grounded, and resourced.  While you will feel held by professional guidance and knowledge, you won’t have a stuffy, clinical, cold experience. You can expect to uncover at your own pace and have a warm, natural back and forth that can even include laughter! Together, we can lighten the load you’ve been carrying.
